Whether this detente of chaos works or not, it is past ignorant not to give credit to the policies of the past here: without the sanctions against NK, they would not have been in a situation desperate enough to come to the table. It is not that one year ago Trump started a process to get NK to give up their nuclear program. It’s that his way of dealing with it is working on the NK that was “prepared” by his predecessors. They ALL deserve some credit.
