They were investigating Trump a LOT longer than you indicate, and his decision to run again--well, to announce it--was in order to convince people like you that the investigation was political. Also, you are clearly only reading right-wing media (and even ignored this very article) if you think that the Twitter files simply showed that Twitter was doing the bidding of the FBI and NSA.
